moving a loved one to enhanced living
A place that won’t hold them back.

Moving a loved one into a personal care setting can be a difficult decision. As a caregiver, you know exactly what your loved one needs and wants from life. At Messiah Village, we understand that your loved one’s happiness and safety is your top priority. And in our beautiful Enhanced Living neighborhood, that’s exactly what you’ll find.

How do I know if Enhanced Living is the answer?

There are many different types of living situations available, with varying levels of care. Understanding the differences—and sorting through the various terminology—can be challenging. Fortunately, you aren’t in this alone. Here at Messiah Village, we have a host of Enhanced Living Counselors to help guide you through the whole process. They’ll talk through your options, explain our offerings, and walk you through the application process. We’ll help you find exactly the right level of care for your loved ones.

Not sure personal care is the right option? Consider talking with Messiah Lifeways Coaching. A qualified coach can help you navigate the options available to your loved ones based on their unique situation. And the service is entirely free.

Of course! Visitors are quite welcome to dine with their loved ones in Enhanced Living. We simply ask that you make arrangements with Hopewell 24 hours ahead of time, then you can purchase a $5 meal voucher at the Evergreen Café, and use it in Hopewell’s Asbury Dining Room.

Do you offer physician services?

Yes. We offer on-site primary care, and we also provide access to a host of specialists, including audiologists, optometrists, podiatrists, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

Are there visiting hours?

Visitors are always welcome at Messiah Village, but we do encourage visits to occur between 9 am and 9 pm to help avoid disturbing other residents.

Are residents permitted to have pets?

Some pets are allowed if residents can care for them independently—fish, birds, and cats, for example. However, all pets must be approved prior to moving in.

Is there an entrance fee for Enhanced Living at Messiah Village?

In general, there is a $500 non-refundable reservation fee due within seven days of moving into Enhanced Living at Messiah Village. The reservation fee to hold a Hopewell apartment will vary. After the initial reservation fee, Enhanced Living is considered fee-for-service, and is billed on a monthly basis.
