Aquatic exercise has become a major alternative in our fitness conscious society. Water workouts are fun and can be challenging and beneficial for people of all ages and abilities. Water acts as a cushion, which means less stress on joints and bones. The Messiah Village Aquatic Program meets the Arthritis Foundation guidelines for persons with arthritis or orthopedic problems. With water temperatures of 86-90 degrees, it is a relaxing exercise-enhancing range of motion and flexibility. Water exercise helps maintain or improve cardio-respiratory endurance, build muscle strength and assist in weight loss.

• Whirlpool

Research has proven that strength training can improve muscle mass and strength regardless of age or physical condition.

Strength Equipment

Keiser Air is pneumatic strength training equipment that uses the force of compressed air to create resistance. Keiser Air is easy to control and adjust. It produces a consistent, controlled resistance that produces a beneficial strength training routine.

Fitness Room Equipment Includes:

• Upper Back Chest Press Lat Pull-Down Leg extension, leg press and leg curl Cardiovascular Equipment
• Treadmills, upright exercise bike, recumbent exercise bike and a cardioglide are also available.
